Team History

If there’s a team with as much history and tradition as the Cubs, we’re hard-pressed to think of it. The Chicago Cubs (originally the Chicago White Stockings) got their start in 1876 as one of the National League’s first teams. They evolved from the White Stockings to the Chicago Cults, Chicago Orphans, and then finally to the Chicago Cubs in 1903.

The Cubbies have three World Series titles to their names — from 1907, 1908, and then, finally, 2016. While the Cubs have certainly put us through a few droughts, the Boys in Blue remain one of the best franchises in the league.

From Ron Santo, Ernie Banks, and Greg Maddox to Billy Williams and Furguson Jenkins, the Cubs have a host of Hall of Fame players that have worn the blue stripes.

Whether you want to showcase Hall-of-Famer Ryne Sandberg up at the plate or Shawon Duston diving for a catch at shortstop, our Chicago Cubs MLB photo collection has the officially licensed, authentic photos you’re after.

If you’re a Bleacher Bum through and through, it’s time to bring your Chicago Cubs memorabilia collection to the next level.
