Team History

What started as a Seattle expansion team in 1970 has grown into one of Wisconsin’s most beloved franchises — the Brewers. While the Brewers haven’t yet tapped into postseason glory, the team still has a storied history of triumph, tradition, and talent.

The early 1980s were a heyday for the Brewers, as they earned the AL East Division title and the AL Pennant in 1982. This year still marks the Brewers only World Series appearance, where they lost to the St. Louis Cardinals. With Rollie Fingers, Pete Vuckovich, Ted Simmons, and Gorman Thomas, the Brewers were a force to be reckoned with in the 1980s.

Now, the Brewers are hoping new talent will carry their team to the postseason. Photo File will be along every pitch of the way, capturing the moments of Brewers history that fans would give anything to experience. Showcase your pride for the Milwaukee Brewers today with officially licensed MLB photos from Photo File.
